March 19 and 20th-  Scholar-in-Residence Weekend with Rabbi Jamie Arnold. (For more information:  Weekend Friday Night Service at 7:30 pm at Temple Sinai, NOT TBA!!

March 21st-  Sunday at 10:00 am: The next lecture of the Men’s Health Project of Temple Beth Am will be on Medically Managed Weight Loss by Dr. Joshua Usen.  (Please note the time change)

March 22nd- RSVP deadline for the The Second Night Seder

March 24th- 7:00 pm, The Occasional Book Club. (More below)

March 24th-  Wednesday, March 24 at 7:00 pm: Hillel Comedy Night (For more information:  Hillel )


March 30th-  graphic Tuesday at 6:00 pm: The Second Night Seder Reservation Form is available on page 9 of your February Temple Topics, or find it on-line on Page 9. 

April 11th- National Memorial Observances in connection with the Holocaust. (Read more below)

April 25th-  Rummage Sale setup will be April 24th with sale on April 25th.
Now is a good time to set aside items to donate.  Temple will accept items after Passover. (See more below)

April 25th-  Rummage Sale

Rummage Sale Items Needed!!!

Now is the time to start Spring Cleaning!  Remember to save your donations for our Spring Rummage Sale.  Drop off your donations at Temple April 7 - April 24.  request help to pick up your donations. 

Volunteers for Saturday and Sunday are always needed.   
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: 

 -  Saturday, April 24 3:00 PM until done  Rummage Sale Setup
 -  Sunday, April 25 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM    Rummage Sale

The Occasional Book Club:  We now are reading Unsettled: An Anthropology Of The Jews, written by Melvin Konner. 

Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday evening, 7:00 PM, March 24

All are welcomed, prereading of the book not necessary.

The Federal Government and the Department of Defense have designated Sunday 11 April for national memorial observances in connection with the Holocaust.

Locally, at 3:00 pm on that day, a ceremony will take place at the Main Auditorium (Room 301) of the VA Hospital on Bailey at Main Street.   A holocaust survivor, Dr. Sol Messenger, will speak on "The Power of the Individual."

Music and refreshments will be provided.

Temple Beth Tzedek is taking orders for the cantorial concert CD that was held in November in memory of Cantor Susan Wehle. The temple will not order the CDs unless they have 60 orders. Please contact Temple Beth Tzedek at 838-3232 to place your order.
