Men’s Group Report By Blaine
Schwartz TBA Past President
As December rapidly approaches, it’s
time to begin planning your holiday activities. These
holiday activities should, of course, include your attending such Men’s Group
sponsored family events as Tailgate at Temple,
formerly Latkefest (nothing like the annual
clogging of the arteries by eating those delectable latkes…we Jews have been
doing it for generations) and, of course, Temple
Beth Am’s Annual December 25th Chinese
Dinner.
The Men’s Group is also looking
forward to sponsoring other events as the snow flies such
as card games, interfaith dinners, father-son activities and TBA’s Annual
Bubbe’s Kitchen Deli Day (which, this
year, is scheduled for March).
If you have not already done so,
please consider joining the Men’s Group. We’d love to welcome
you to one of our monthly lox and bagel breakfasts held at the Temple. Now is
a great time to join so you can meet new friends
and enjoy visiting with old acquaintances.
Please contact our Temple
Administrator, Rick Ellis, at 633-8877, or Men’s Group, President
Todd Sugarman, at 228-3201 for further information.
The Men’s Group also supports
the Temple through donations towards our new outdoor sign,
new carpeting and our wonderful Outdoor Picnic Grove and Worship Center that
Men’s Group president, Todd Sugarman was
instrumental in designing, constructing and helping
to fund.
Each month, different members of
the Men’s Group will have the honor of writing the Temple
Topics article. I’m pleased to have written the first in a series of articles,
each of which will focus on different Men’s Group activities.
