Welcome to Temple Beth Am
In the rush and bustle of modern life, Temple Beth Am provides
something special...a warm and loving place, for young through retirees, for families, couples and singles, and newcomers of all ages to make connections, to touch the spirit, to celebrate the sacred moments in our lives. Reaching out to shape the world, reaching in to support each other. In all the different configurations in which Jewish families come today, here, we share a strong sense of community, spirituality and common purpose.
We invite you to join us each and every Erev Shabbat in song and prayer as we welcome Shabbat.
Gunilla Kester's Anthology to be featured
We were just informed that during a segment about the
National Transportation Safety Board on the
Today Show set to air tomorrow morning, February 2nd,
they may hold up a copy of Gunilla Kester's anthology,
The Empty Chair: Love and Loss in the Wake of 3407.
The anthology honoring the victims of Flight 3407 includes memories, journal
entries, letters, stories, poems, and photos for and about the
victims. Many of the contributions are dedicated to our beloved
Cantor Susan Wehle. It is published by local independent publisher,
The Writer's Den, and is available at www.Lulu.com.
Just type in the title or "Gunilla Kester" to find the book.
